We stayed there 2 weeks in July 2011. Location is perfect, the village is very quiet and cosy. We enjoyed it very much. No noisy bars or discos, great place to rest. Barbati has a very good connection to Corfu Town which is only 18 km away and without doubt one of the best beaches all over the island. There is no cash machine in Barbati, the nearest one is in Ipsos. We can recomend "Starlight" tavern which offers a great atmosphere and one of the best greek salads (choriatiki) we have ever had in Greece.

We had a superior room, quite spacious and with a great view. Thanks to a very nice receptionist the previous one which was much smaller has been changed to this one as we asked if we could have a room on the upper floor.
The only thing we didn't like about it were wasps that have nests under the roof and it was not possible to stay at the balcony during the day. The are in general plenty of them all over the island, but the hotel should absolutely do something about the nests as the wasps don't let you enjoy your stay as you may want it.

Food is very good, quite wide range of it, fruit, cakes and ice cream for dessert. People in general complained about the coffee and they were completely right as it is AWFUL. There is no coffee in coffee, it has no taste, no aroma. A hotel like this should pay attention to details. Generally speaking Pantokrator is a very good hotel with nice staff, good food and perfect location. There are some details to be changed but they are details. Staying there was a pleasure!
